Vélocity Bicycle Cooperative is a non-profit, volunteer-run bike cooperative based in Alexandria, Virginia, that’s dedicated to building a vibrant, inclusive cycling community. Their mission centers on educating, encouraging, and empowering people of all backgrounds to ride, maintain, and enjoy bicycles with a special focus on accessibility, affordability, and community learning. Because it’s driven by volunteers and partners with local organizations to expand its reach, Vélocity isn’t just a shop.
